One of the earliest ones I did was INDIGO, a basic SkaarjTrooper done over in blue as opposed to the usual tans & yellows. Team colors though I tried to go another way...
...instead of the armor changing colors to represent each team, I tried to keep it as close to blue as possible while only changing the Skaarj's skin itself.
My earliest skin edits, and to this day mostly still, involved some varied TINT editing. Switching around the Red, Blues, & Greens most image editors provide on a basic level.
The green TC is a bit off on the armor but I still like it okay.
MEAT made a request for a skin back in December, that I've been putting off until just recently:
Mostly haven't been skinning as actively as I used to due to being in a bit of a funk. Thinking this skin will help me get outta that.
It's a pretty simple thing, once I know what I'm gonna do each skin only takes about 2 to 5 minutes to make. The overall setup of the skin is a little unusual, each skin is a single texture, kinda like the setup of Unreal1 skins, so I'm thinking I can put upwards of 20 skins to a single texture file.
